Making it real
You've got all the tools you need. And if you've been doing the exercises as you've gone along, you're now much better at each of the individual components of making a video. It's time to bring them together.
Make a plan. Jot down everything you need to do, going back of this training program, and put everything you need to do in a simple checklist. Put it in order and put it somewhere easy to access. You'd be amazed at how much it will impact on how you go about things. We recommend creating the list in a computer document of some kind so that you can edit it, change it, print it, use it, change it again… and so on.
Put the video online somewhere – use the unlisted level of privacy on Youtube or the equivalent on Vimeo (or whereever you host your videos). Wait for a few days and come back to it.
Do a few videos, experimenting. Upload them all.
Share them with a friend. Don't ask them for feedback about how good, bad or indifferent they thought the videos were! Instead, as them to tell you which videos they preferred. Then ask them why.
That way you'll get more honest feedback and you'll get more information about what you need to change and what you need to concentrate on.
